Rochester Aardvarks Membership Classes & Dues
FULL MEMBER
Enjoys all the rights, priviledges and obligations of the Club. This includes the right to vote at club meetings,
be eligible for selection, attend post-game parties, and be required, from time to time, to serve on standing and other committees such as
tournament, field, and special projects. $150.00 per season. In addition, A one time yearly fee of $35.00 will also be required for CIPP
Membership in USA Rugby.
STUDENT MEMBER
These members are full time students who enjoy the same benefits as full members, but with a dues break of $75.00
a season. In addition, A one time yearly fee of $35.00 will also be required for CIPP Membership in USA Rugby.
ROOKIE MEMBER
These members are brand new to the game of rugby and have not played for the Aardvarks in the past nor aanother club who enjoy all the same benefits as full members, but cannot hold an elected position
within the club and they also realize a dues break of $75.00 for their first season only. Upon completion of their Rookie season the member is eligible for full or student dues level. In addition, A one time yearly fee of $35.00 will also be required for CIPP Membership in USA Rugby.
OLD BOY MEMBER
These are full members who are eligible for Old Boy matches. You must be in your 35th year of life. You practice only if
you want a run and play half as many matches as the younger members. $75.00 a season. In addition, A one time yearly fee of $35.00 will also be required for CIPP
Membership in USA Rugby.
CIPP MEMBERSHIP
All active players, coaches, referees and executives who participate in the sport are required to be CIPP'd (Certified Individual Participant Program) with USA Rugby. This provides a level of liability insurance to the individual particpating in a game. The annual fee is $35.00 per player.
SOCIAL MEMBER
These are non playing members with no voting rights at meetings who wish to enjoy the social aspect of the club. Including
free admission to all post-game parties and other social events throughout the year. $50.00 a season.
LIFE MEMBER
These members are full members with a one time life membership fee of $4000.00.
HONORARY LIFE MEMBER
Each year the club at it discrection can grant one member honorary life member status with all the privilages of a full member.
GOLDEN AARDVARK MEMBER
These are non playing members, with full voting rights, who have made a significant commitment to the sport of Rugby or the club that want to continue supporting the club
with time, talent, financial, and expertise. To qualify you must have been a member of the Rochester Aardvarks in good standing and as such may become a Golden Aardvark and may participate in all social aspect of the club. Including
post-game parties and other social events throughout the year. $40.00 or $75.00 per year.
A Local Golden Aardvark is a member meeting the Golden Aardvark requirements that lives within a 50 miles radius of Aardvark Park.
A Out of Town Golden Aardvark is a member meeting the Golden Aardvark requirements and lives beyond a 50 miles radius of Aardvark Park.
A Benefactor Golden Aardvark is a member meeting the Golden Aardvark requirements and was an original benefactor of the Rochester Aardvarks during the aquisition of the fields.
HONORARY GOLDEN AARDVARK MEMBER
Each year, the current Golden Aardvarks, with approval from the executive committee, at their discrection
may grant a member(s) a honorary Golden Aardvark membership. These are non playing members, with full voting
rights, who have made a significant noteworthy contribution to the sport of Rugby or the club that want to
continue supporting the club with time, talent, financial, and expertise. To qualify you must have been a
member of the Rochester Aardvarks in good standing and as such may become a Golden Aardvark and may participate
in all social aspect of the club. Including post-game parties and other social events throughout the year.
UNIFORMS
The jersey design varies, but typically consists of Green, Black, Gold, and White with the Club logo on the left breast. The
socks are black and the shorts are black. The club owns multiple sets of jerseys that are used by all sides. All
playing members are provided with jerseys for all matches. The rest of the kit, black shorts, boots and socks, are
the responsibility of the members.
SOCIAL EVENTS
The Club has many social events through out the year. The biggest is the annual President's Dinner in February. Additional events include:
US Rugby Football Foundation: Tax-Deductible Donations to the USRFF - Rochester Rugby Development Fund. Please Choose "Other Fund" and enter "Rochester Rugby Development Fund" as the fund choice.
