something to do with your spare time after work? Need to get into shape and have
fun doing it? Try Rugby
The Rochester Aardvarks Rugby Football Club, in preparation for
the 2008 season will begin its regularly scheduled practices in March
at Cobb's Hill Park, on the corner of Highland and Monroe Avenue, in Rochester from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Indoor practice sessions for the winter months are held at the Main Street Armory.
Please check here for latest information regarding practice locations.
The Rochester Aardvarks welcome all new, previous, and current rugby players to join us during our practice sessions. We
welcome all skill levels to our club and will strive to make you a successful
rugby player through conditioning, drills, and coaching. If you can run, catch,
kick, tackle or handle a ball, you can play rugby. The diverse nature of the 15
positions on a rugby team allows most participants to easily adopt the game.
Experience is not needed, as we have a solid core of players who can teach you
the fundamentals of rugby.
If your not sure what the sport involves browse through out web site and associated links, e-mail us, or stop by a
practice or a game. By playing rugby, you will be joining the international fraternity of rugby players and
playing the world's greatest game. I can think of no other sport that so many people play
late into life for the simple joy of playing the game. Part of the reason is that being a
rugby player means so much more than just being an athlete on a team. There is no way to
understand the camaraderie among ruggers other than playing the game.
The Rochester Aardvarks RFC invite anyone interested in the playing rugby to join on for the current season. Please email us at for latest information
regarding practice times and locations.
