Due to some key injuries and some prior commitments,the club is looking for players for this weekend. We would like to see any alumni interested in playing at our next practice on Thursday Oct.5 (Rich Allen). This is not a mandetory practice, but would help come Saturday. If you can't make thursday then just show up Saturday before 12:30 and suit up for either an "A" or "B" match.

ALL ARE WELCOME! We now have a nice picnicing area and some new bleachers for family and friends to enjoy the games.

In their first meeting, Eastern Suburbs traveled to Rochester and went home with a 30-3 loss. Rochester can expect a tougher Eastern Suburbs team this game partly because of home field advantage and partly due to being over confident. This year the team came out in the first half of the season with their goals focused squarly on de-throning the 2 time defending champs Buffalo, with this task accomplished the Aardvarks must now focus on themselves as the team to beat. We'll see what happens!!!

Possible Agenda:
Review new Program Outline- its a 1 year plan to organize and run Youth Rugby.
Bring your checkbook so we can register everyone intereseted for the Nov. 3 from 12-5 Youth Coaching/Refereeing Clinic in Syracuse. You will have to take a 1/2 day if you plan on going.
What to do in the spring of 2001. Program target is spring 2002, should build interest this Spring/Summer with work shops, practices, and informational seminars for Coaches,Athletic Directors, Teachers,Parents/Children.
The group needs to purchase some Youth training videos for review and potential use this Spring. A donation will be collected tonight to help with the purchase of this material. I will have an estimated cost and what we want to purchase.
I would also like to raise the issue that we need to elect some sort of board to help with the organization. If were going to collect money and purchase material and equipment I would like more involvment from others to keep track of the accounting and material owned by the Youth Program.
Open forum for discussion of concerns and obviously ideas and recommendations.
